This is Billy Economou's first year with the Winnipeg Alliance. He has previously played outdoors with the Canadian National Champions Hellas S.C. of Winnipeg where he has served as team captain for the past 5 seasons. Billy is a defensive specialist possesing cat-like reflexes and a no-fear attitude which has helped him excel at all levels. His knowledge of the game coupled with his outstanding work ethic and determination is what makes him a such valuable asset and above all, team leader. By day Billy is a Physical Education Teacher with the Winnipeg School Division and a coach in the Inner City Soccer League for the Mulvey Mustangs.
