The Winnipeg Alliance Soccer Club has formed a relationship with WAACA and CNDC in order to develop a soccer program to include the participation of inner city kids in soccer.  It is the intention of the Winnipeg Alliance Soccer club to have this program run year round to have these children participate in Soccer camps as well as attend Alliance home games and the season premiere game at the MTS Center. 

Last February The Alliance Soccer Club with the help of its sponsors and private donars donated 700 tickets to inner city kids organizations to attend the premiere game at the MTS Center.   The excitement and appreciation from the kids that attended the game made it obvious that the club needed to continue this type of work.  It was after this that Tony Pesce (president) decided that it would become a mandate of the club to work with inner city kids.

Since then the club has held a two day soccer camp for inner city kids where the children were treated to free gifts, lunch and transporation to and from central park and CMU University where the camp was held. This camp was directed by Nano Romero and Jordan Goetting. 

 The next event coming up will be held in Central Park on August 8th 2010.  This event will bring the The Winnipeg Alliance as well as a youth 17 team to play on a new soccer pitch in Central Park.  This is very exciting for the people in the community of Central Park as this is something that has never been done before.  The day will include soccer games, food and entertainment.  Kick off is at 12 Pm and will run until 4 pm.
